Night Screen Privacy Policy

Night Screen is provided by the publisher of Dancetime. This policy covers the Night Screen iPhone app and this website, nightscreenapp.com.

Information in the app

Night Screen does not require an account and does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking SDKs. It does not collect your browsing history, screen contents, photos, contacts, or location. Night Screen does not read the contents of other apps.

Your selected mode, setup confirmations, and onboarding preferences are stored locally on your iPhone. The app reads the screen-brightness level to display and adjust its brightness control. These preferences are not sent to our servers. iOS may include local app data in backups according to your device settings.

Whole-phone modes use Apple Shortcuts to change display settings. Your saved Color Filters, Night Shift, and Reduce White Point settings are managed by iOS. Apple Shortcuts and Settings are governed by Apple’s policies.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Night Screen uses Apple’s StoreKit framework to request subscription information and verify current purchase entitlements on your device. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple processes purchase and account information under its own privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy.

Support and diagnostics

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address and issue description. We use it to respond to your request. Do not include passwords or payment-card details.

Development builds may keep a bounded local log of shortcut handoffs and callbacks, including event times, request identifiers, mode names, and error descriptions. These logs are not automatically uploaded to us. If you choose to share diagnostics for support, we use them to investigate the reported issue. Apple may separately collect crash and diagnostic information according to your Apple privacy settings.

This website

nightscreenapp.com does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or third-party scripts. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Support information is retained only as needed to respond to and resolve your request, unless a longer period is legally required. We may disclose support information if required by law.

Your choices

You can delete the app to remove its local data. Deleting Night Screen does not cancel a subscription or remove shortcuts you installed in Apple Shortcuts. Manage or cancel subscriptions in iPhone Settings under your Apple Account’s Subscriptions. Delete installed shortcuts in the Shortcuts app. You may contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to legal retention obligations.
